Editorial Policy

Our role

TrendTonight is a content discovery platform, not a publisher. We curate links to stories from third-party sources and send readers directly to the original publisher. We do not rewrite, republish, or alter the substance of any article.

Source selection

We select partner feeds based on the following criteria:

  • Consistent publication of original content
  • Demonstrated editorial standards and fact-checking processes
  • Clear authorship and accountability
  • No history of systematic misinformation or manipulative content

We review feed quality periodically and may remove sources that no longer meet these standards without notice.

Section curation

Stories are automatically categorized into sections (Top Stories, Latest, Trending Tonight, Editor Picks) based on recency and engagement signals. “Editor Picks” reflects manual or algorithmically weighted selections from our team at the time of curation and does not imply endorsement of the views expressed in those articles.

Attribution and credit

Every article page clearly identifies the original source. We display the publisher name and provide a direct link to the original article. We do not present third-party content as our own.

Corrections and removals

If a story contains factual errors that are corrected by the original publisher, the update will reflect in our feed automatically as the source updates.

If you believe a link on TrendTonight points to content that is harmful, inaccurate, or copyright-infringing, contact us at editorial@trendtonight.com and we will investigate promptly.

Commercial independence

Advertising and sponsored content do not influence editorial curation. Advertisers have no input into which stories are featured or how they are presented. For advertising opportunities, see our Advertise page.
